The fruitfulness of the womb

We live in times where almost every day, week or month is designated to the recognition of an event, society or movement. I recently found out on social media that this past week (April 23 – 29) was National Infertility Awareness Week in the United States. Upon further research, I found some stories shared by individuals documenting their journey and how they overcame infertility. But there were also some ladies that shared that they had been moved to the point of doubt and questioning if they would be able to conceive because of signs and symptoms shared as part of the sensitization that goes on during this week.

Infertility is a form of demonic oppression. It tries to oppose the command and design of God for man to be fruitful and multiply (Genesis 1:27-28) but as Christians we know that the Word of God cannot fail (Joshua 21:45, Isaiah 55:10-11). I wrote this to encourage you, dear reader, to take a moment and pray for the people in your sphere of influence and around the world; that they may receive in understanding the promises of God regarding the fruitfulness of the womb and see it manifest in their lives.

No one shall suffer miscarriage or be barren in your land; I will fulfill the number of your days.

Exodus 23:26 (NKJV)

And He will love you and bless you and multiply you; He will also bless the fruit of your womb and the fruit of your land, your grain and your new wine and your oil, the increase of your cattle and the offspring of your flock, in the land of which He swore to your fathers to give you. You shall be blessed above all peoples; there shall not be a male or female barren among you or among your livestock.

Deuteronomy 7:13-14 (NKJV)
